Every single person was super friendly and helpful. This started with trying to schedule our trip and how quickly they returned my call. On the day of our dig, Jesse was our guide. He is amazing and made sure we had a great experience. He showed us some great places to work and continued to assist as we needed. We have a lot of crystals to clean but be sure we found some very clear crystals on this dig. We will be back!
Our family has been to 6 other mines on or around Mount Ida. This is by far our favorite mine so far. It’s a interesting trek up the mountain so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive. There is a good size area open to general public. The crystals we found were the clearest we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to go back.
Best place to dig on my whole 4 day vacation! We came to Arkansas for a different Mine and the guy didn't show so we went here instead and I'm so glad we did! Check out my pictures I got some Huge pieces!
A girlfriend and I rode down from Wichita, Kansas to camp in the area and dig at Avant Mining. I’ve been following their instagram page for years now and it had always been on my bucket list/a dream to dig there. Since the trek up the mountain wasn’t ideal for motorcycles, one of the employees took time out of her day to drive us up and down. We loved it so much (gift shop, specimens on display, coffee bar, and customer service all included) we’re coming back this year and we’re bring more ladies with us! Thanks for being the highlight of our trip! We loved Avant Mining Fisher Mountain!
We were very glad we stopped here! It did Not Disappoint! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Last Day in the area. Added a day to look for crystals. But rain 😬😪😪😪 & lots of it in the morning At noon we decided to head our stupid n g her 1st. The coffee was fantastic & we didn't expect that. Had no tools to but they had some. Girl running the museum/shop gave great directions. The drive up was fun & to spite the rain quite doable in our Murano. We found soo much in the short time we had. We will definitely be back!
