Located just 45 minutes from Phoenix, the Arizona Breakwater Gold 002 Placer Claim is a 20.00 acre Federal Unpatented Mining claim located just downstream of a Gold & Copper producing lode vein. Featuring one main stream channel running thru the claim bearing alluvial gold.
High quality bedrock outcrops are exposed throughout most of the wash with minimal overburden. There is an active waterfall on the claim with plunge pool located beneath. Due to the large amount of bedrock present on the claim there is a significant amount of cracks within the bedrock that are ideal for gold crevicing. Water was flowing at the time of survey, although due to the intermittent nature of the stream dry washing and metal detecting will be necessary for the majority of the year.
